Canada's economy is doing significantly better than the US economy currently. One Canadian dollar is currently the equivalent of 1.0346 American dollars, based on a 2010 rating. While the Canadian government is not necessarily smarter, they are less divided and have significantly better stances on issues that normally tear the US apart.

Here in Canada we don't have our own economy in my opinion.....we are like a separate US State without a vote. We didn't allow sub prime mortgages here because we had more government control over the banks....but it doesn't really matter now. Canada was at war in afghanistan for 9 years now....the dollar is just about even when like 12 years ago our dollar was just 65 cents US...We have a Conservative Government in Ottawa which is like Republican sort of...Our army in afghanistan is voluntary enlistment and that means 98% white guys getting killed. The non whites here don't think of canada as their home...just a place to get rich.
