Come on over! And if you want to research Canadian universities to see what sort of programmes they have in your area go to www.aucc.ca which has a searchable database plus links to each institution.

I love living in Canada. Recycling is really big here so if you're concerned about the environment you will probably like that. We have a lot of really great schools here. There is also some excellent entertainment, night life and theater. Lots of people think the British accent is very sexy too.

Canada is a nation that ranks among the very best for its quality of life. This is partly a factor of prosperity and a great environment. But the key factor is its People.Canadian society is recognized for its human values and is built on principles of fairness, compassion, justice, and opportunity for all. These principles are entrenched in our laws and our institutions, but above all they are entrenched in our culture.Canadian society is defined by its diversity. We continue to learn from the rich history of First Nations and we have always been strengthened by the dynamic relationship between Anglophones and Francophones. Canada is a young society, one that is still being shaped by immigration from the entire world, making us a nation where language, religion and ethnic background are not a source of conflict, but one of understanding and unity....welcome to Canada in advance :)

Canada is a wonderful country that would more than welcome you. We have a great medical system, education system and the people are pretty friendly.Yes, Canada has strong views on the environment and most large cities have great recycling programs. You will enjoy your time there and we don't have bars on all the windows of shops like the UK.

Canada is a fantastic place to live. I have lived here all of my life. I love that Brits come over, I happened to meet one, fell in love with him and am marrying him!!He has opened my eyes to the aspects of Canada that I was too acustomed to. For example, he says that the sky never ends. His step mother came here for a visit and, although she needs two different types of inhalyers in England, she used one here ONCE, our air is much cleaner. Also, Saskatoon, SK is the same size as London geographically but Saskatoon has 250,000 people where London has 9 million. Obviously it is a different way of life. Our costs of a number of things are much cheaper here, and considering your money doubles coming over, that is a huge plus. Fiance found a shirt in Edmonton for $60.00, he bought the same shirt in England for 80 pounds ($160.00)!!!My fiance is in the trucking (lorry) industry. Canada has a huge number of Brits driving trucks here, so I have met so many Brits, and they all love it here. One of the downsides about you moving here is getting landed residency can be difficult, expensive and a bit of a run around. And since it takes a while, and you tend to need landed status to get credit, loans, mortgages, credit cards, etc, are very hard to get, or if gotten, are at an incredibly high interest rate.Post an edit for me if you want any specific questions answered.
